Star-studded Event Will Include 1st Annual Ball Up "Air Up There" Slam Dunk Contest




Cedric The Entertainer, Brandon Routh, Donald Fasion, Greg Finley, James Lesure, Joel David Moore, Clark Gregg, Josh Morrow, Bill Bellamy, Mario, Tank, among others




NBA Greats Julius "Dr. J" Erving, Tracy Murray and Cedric Ceballos




WHAT: Ball Up -- the streetball league that is electrifying audiences worldwide -- will host its first Annual Celebrity Streetball Game featuring the Ball Up All-Stars, an elite team comprised of the top streetball players from the around the U.S., taking on many of today's hottest celebrities, including stars from the popular Entertainment League (E League). This star-studded event will help raise awareness and funds for the National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) and will air as Game 6 of the 2011 Ball Up Season currently airing Sunday nights on Fox Sports Net (5 and 9 pm). The day's events will also include the 1st Annual Ball Up "Air Up There" Slam Dunk Contest, with Celebrity and NBA greats as judges.




WHO: Celebrities include Cedric The Entertainer, James Lesure (Mr. Sunshine, Las Vegas), Brandon Routh (Dylan Dog: Dead of Night, Superman Returns), Donald Fasion (Robot Chicken, Scrubs), Greg Finley (Secret Life of the American Teenager), Joel David Moore (Avatar, Bones), Clark Gregg (Thor, Iron Man I & II), Josh Morrow (Young & The Restless), Bill Bellamy (Last Comic Standing), Robbie Jones (Hellcats, One Tree Hill). R&B singers Mario and Tank, among others.....

The legendary Julius "Dr. J" Erving will step on the court as a judge for the Ball Up "Air Up There" Slam Dunk Contest along with former NBA player Cedric Ceballos and Ball Up All-Stars player Air Up There.

The popular 80's pop new wave group, the Spazmatics, will perform the half-time show.
