Please comment and leave ideas...... I am working on building my 75 gallon tank back up. I chaned out the gravel for sand and that was an adventure. I didn't clean it all the way and the tank looked like a mud puddle. I did away with the traditional light with the T12 bulb and got a cheap shop light and replaced the bulbs with higher output and better color T8's. I also put in a wet/dry trickle filter which has been running for almost two weeks and the water looks really good still. Above the filter I put in a grow light to start some plants. I am thinking of expanding the filter for more plant space. That's it for now more updates in the future. please leave comments and new ideas

  • Cool tank, do you keep them in cold water or warm water?

  • @BudaPond101 I keep the water fairly warm due to what ppl say. I keep it just above what they say for fancy goldfish. The temp is just about 75 degrees. I have not had any problems with it thus far and the fish seem to love it and are happy and healthy

  • I bought the big white and red one at walmart at only one inch. I got the rest at petsmart and a local pet store. They all were small and they grew that big with proper care

  • I really like your tank, looks really natural. Great filter system you have there.

  • @SerenityMr2 oh okay, i have a few goldfish in a pond so i know they can live in either hot or cold climates since most of the time my fish survive the winter time. Most people always say they need cold water but really in warmer water they grow a lot faster, the only thing you have to worry about is waste as they produce more in a warmer climate then colder. your tank looks really clear tho so no worries there, id recommend some plants or decorations so they dont get bored, otherwise awesome.

  • what store did get all of the fishes ?
