My memory is proceeding me here, but if I can recall, you are on the Northbound track, right?

Also, the reason the trains seem to be slower than normal is because of how close the station is to Metropark, which is a major hub for trains in the Central NJ area. I take trains out of Metropark to get to DC for college breaks. Both this and Metropark are great stations, but no Amtrak stops at Metuchen.

Yep I was on the southbound platform before going on the northbound. Metuchen is the next station after Metropark heading South. The Csx freight was most likely the Tropicana Juice Train (Not sure if it still uses the NEC). Glad you liked the video.

Wow!!! This is amazing!! Great High Quality stuff here! That shot of the Comet 5 coming around the curve at about 100MPH while the arrow departed the station was unbelievable! This is some great stuff you have here! 5 stars all the way and favorited! This rivals TrainiacProductions in my opinion!! Awesome shots man!

the speed of trains doesn't really matter. It's just the effort that you put into capturing them on video or in photos that counts

Wow! a much wider variety of trains then over in UK lol. Don't recognise some of those :O

As you get closer to the city, stations become closer together, as you head more southwest, it gets more spread out.

But still I enjoyed it.

Good video! I have railfanned Metuchen before at night (last year sometime in January) at caught a tremendous CSX freight! It was awesome!
