75 million Europeans each year become victims of crime. The European Union is guaranteeing their right to support, protection and access to justice. Wherever you are in the EU. Also, 8 million Europeans a year are accused or suspected of a crime. The EU is defending their rights to a fair trial: guaranteeing the right to information, translation and interpretation, access to a lawyer, and to contact their family and consulate when in another EU country.
As a European citizen, your rights are protected at home, abroad and online
