  • great vid, but the f-16 always does a wheelie on landing; they call it aero-braking, its to help the aircraft to slow down

  • Ok thanks, didn't know that :)

  • Very cool, thanks for sharing (also with the other videos you made). Its amazing how calm and peaceful such a powerful machine can seem at 600fps. And is the pilot waving?

Id love to get one of those cameras, well have to see what happens.

  • Thanks! It gives a complete other view of the world :)

You should really get one yourself. It's so much fun.

Yeah, it looks like he's waving, I was figuring that myself when I saw the video :)

  • @Sfatoria Great slo mo vid. Shows what the plane, and the expert pilot, can do with this machine. In real time you don't get to see what really happens because it happens so quickly. Thanks for the upload.

  • Great vid, Sfatoria. That is good.

  • @Falconoflife and that kind of fire would take a lot more time to put out

  • @lubey111 it didn't have any Mk's attached. And usually bombs have sme safety systems.

  • @Falconoflife Maybe it would result in a huge fire which takes 4.5 minutes to put out? Just long enough to cook off those Mk-82's...

  • @lubey111 Lol how could that take 5 minutes(counted from the moment it touches down)???

  • @AmonAmarth99 yes, but after the flair the F-16 keeps the nose off the ground to give them more aerodynamic braking

  • @AmonAmarth99 F-16 doesn't have a chute. They land and actually raise the nose a little bit more than their flair to give full aerodynamic breaking. then when they slow down they lower the nose

  • why didn't you show the touchdown?

  • @Sfatoria it's done because it's increases surface area hence air friction in the wings and body of the aircraft.

Just to let you know ^^
