The Promises of God bring us life, direction and hope. www.hearingGod.tv presents an audible, spoken word, of bible promises by topic on YouTube. Feel free to create playlists in your areas of need and play them over and over--sinking the word of God into your spirit, while you surf the web or multi-task.

Bless you as your mind is conforming to Christ, your faith is fed, and the Word of God is being made manifest within you. It shall not return void!

A special musical thanks:
D. Glas (Douglas Stambler)-Convergence (modern classical)

--Perseverance--

"The one who endures to the end, he will be saved."
Matthew 24:13

"It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery."
Galatians 5:1

"Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary."
Galatians 6:9

"As for you, brethren, do not grow weary of doing good."
2 Thessalonians 3:13

"You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus."
2 Timothy 2:1

"You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them."
2 Timothy 3:14

"Christ was faithful as a Son over His house--whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope firm until the end. Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says, 'Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as when they provoked Me, as in the day of trial in the wilderness.'"
Hebrews 3:6-8

"Since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us."
Hebrews 12:1

"Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ."
1 Peter 1:13

"Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you."
2 Peter 1:10-11

"Therefore, return to your God, observe kindness and justice, and wait for your God continually."
Hosea 12:6

"Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Just as it is written, 'For your sake we are being put to death all day long, we were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.'
In all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:35-39

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord."
1 Corinthians 15:58

"Examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good."
1 Thessalonians 5:21

"The plans of the diligent lead surely to advantage, but everyone who is hasty comes surely to poverty."
Proverbs 21:5

hearing God r u guys Christian because your last images of the painting of a lady with no eyes is quite disturbing

  • @sarinayah yup. we are to look with our hearts and not go by what we see.

"if our eyes cause us to sin".. not a pretty scripture but the point is crystal clear.

we must learn to go deeper in the spirit in all things.. even satan comes in looking 'good'.

    thx for asking : D

  • very encourging. Perserverence is developed when we go thru trials, and in order to succeed in our trials, we need to confide in God. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

  • @solarisgalrocks awesome comment... that's it!

  • What is perseverance?

  • @toxendon def: steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., esp. in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement.

  • @hearingGod:

Exactly! The Devil has a way of using Bible verses against us, so we must always be on alert. Example: The evil one will point to verses on laziness while you're unemployed, in an attempt to make you feel guilty. As if you've fallen short of The Lord. Reality is that The Lord wants you to wait & you've done nothing wrong at all.

  • Timely as always of late! I was listening to the NT while I was ironing tonight...hearing the same thing....persevere! This morning I was filled with a great love for my co-workers...so what happened next? A couple of them were nasty and hurtful for no apparent reason....but I deflected the fiery darts of the evil one....and still loved my co-workers. Persevere...run the race...in spite of the obstacles! xoxox
