@jakoguns Thats true, but its cause Gilbert is a grinder and I take what back I said, Cerrone and him would be close, he would probably lose to maynard and egar would school him... but he is a very good fighter and he would be elite in the ufc in my opinion.

@ThePok619 Being considered and proving it in the UFC is totally different... he couldn't even finish Masdival... if he were to enter the UFC my man Benson would give him all sorts of trouble... I'm not a Melendez hater it's just my opinion that he's overrated.. UFC lightweight division is the deepest in all of MMA..He's top 10 but no way he'll hold the UFC belt if he does enter

I can't believe some of you think he will do well in UFC, much less beat a guy like Edgar! Gilbert is good at everything but great at nothing, he has fought no one notable and couldn't finish even the nobodies he went through to become SF champ! He is grinder with no power in his hands, but his cardio and chin are solid so he is always a threat to win a decision, but who wants to watch fights like that. Fuck people like Clay Guida who lay and pray and also can't finish!
