it had 50,000 be the end of april, so it is catching up, mainly because its SDK (software developers kit) is avaliable on windows unlike apple's, so more people can make apps for it =]
so really it has overtaken the iphone... in my eyes anyway....

@supercooldudeism it will catch up...it got 20,000 in one month..i'm sure it will catch up sometime soon....... specialy with googles i/o coming in may...
and there a program called double twist thats lets u sync ur android phone just like itunes would...theres also apps to sync ur phone to itunes

if there's one thing it can't compete with apple with it's apples 140 000 apps! Besides that, does it doesn't sync as well with itunes, doesn't have the store's, and all the other jazz you get with the iPhone. The itunes system and apps are just to successful and popular to not sync with them. But who knows!

@irwin770 it has, they just can't use the multi-touch when selling to the US, because of something with Apple.
Third party apps can use multi-touch
