Final touch for this Opinel No. 8 "Ergo"... Blade spine is reground to drop point, and one-hand opening aid is added. Handle is kept waterproof with edible linseed oil (100% non-toxic).
It's very simple. You'd need a rotary tool with some basic attachments (saw blade, 100-grit sandpaper disc, drill bits) for rough shaping. Then some more sandpaper, and finally some linseed oil. The rest is, ehm, magic;)
@tamahagane1700 I'm going to attempt doing something like this on one of my opinels probably my no.9 because I don't use it often. I saw your other videos and I think I'm gonna do the ring like on the other one. I may make a response video or just send you a pic when Im done.
