Griffith Park Fire

Griffith Park Observatory nearly in flames during a horrible 700 acre fire in the famous Los Angeles Griffith Park. The Hollywood hills were on fire practically from the Hollywood sign to the Los Angeles Zoo. 2000 Residents lost power when a power line that runs through the park was engulfed in flames. Mandatory evacuations and high winds brought a rough night for those residents that were relocated to the Marshall High School command center that was quickly set up.
