  • Youtube vloggers get money based on the amount of viewers they have, like charieissocoollike, nigahiga and so on. why cant that go the same when someone views the artists songs? alot of us download their music from youtube. thumbs up of you agree that for every view of these artists songs allows themt o get money, no matter who put it up here? that seems like a really easy solution.

  • im a R&B guy...but i <3 her man.

  • I really love the way she's making this new album. People will be able to appreciate each song on its own, and Imogen will probably be more inspired for each song if she's writing one every three months.

  • I first experienced Imogen's music via illegal download but as I enjoyed Speak For Yourself so much I bought the CD. Then I was hooked bought the deluxe 2CD Ellipse album and the DVD. I agree with Immi that there needs to be a solution where the artists get paid but where people can continue to share and experience music without having to pay out a lot before they decide the like it.

  • Yeah, put your love life on hold because you need to be with me! <3

    She's so pretty. :(

  • <3 this woman.

  • @fortunewills

Emily Simon's "Swimming" live has a person creating a sort of percussion sound out of a bowl of water that they mic'd onstage.

  • She is a one woman band - literally.

  • Imogen,

I can see your creativity growing exponentially and your use of technology is inspiring! I've just returned from holiday in Brighton and I've been deeply living in your music so I've been visualizing what it would be like to hear you mermaid style... what I mean is using wave sounds, singing underwater, using that underwater ringing and noise buffering that being submerged brings. Thank you for all your hard work! xx -Willow

  • A very good interview! :)
