  • Since this clip is "behind the scenes" and I've never seen the show, I'll keep my comments to this clip...

It's fantastic to see Hugh Laurie out of character: joking, laughing, making faces, even smoking. What a charming and adorable man. And those dimples!

And House fans, when he says "I had chimera", how freaky was that?

A rare treat for us Americans who may not have had great access to Mr. Laurie! GREAT CLIP, thank you for posting!

  • it was a great show though you cant beat the original

  • @irenejp. I don't know whether Americans ever got any of the "Blackadder" series, but if you want to see Hugh Laurie's comic acting at his best, then try to see it. His pisstake of the hapless "money buys officer rank" idiot is brilliant. For my money, in some of his scenes, he clearly upstages Rowan Atkinson.

  • I like the idea of them playing Boggle and fooling around with magic tricks behind the scenes!

  • i didn't see the original before the remake... the thing is that when the originall was done, that was sth new, sth never seen before. now we have loads of shows with supernatural, and so many shows whith talking with the ghosts...

the thing that i most disliked about the remake... it was.. kinda naive, at least all the endings.

the cast... i think it was a great thing they brought two people who already had a certan relationship between them.

  • idiots? (talk about pure arrogant ego- let's see you do any better mates)... Vic and Bob are comedic genius. And I commend Vic's interest in the paranormal.

  • The remake was good, but not great. I loved the new stuff they did like Marty exploring Heaven and performing other paranormal abilities, but they shouldn't have got a couple of clowns like Vic & Bob to star in it. (not even very good actors). But because they were big fans of R&H, like me, they were very good at recreating the little bits of the original that fans loved, such as Marty popping up at inconvenient moments- like in the shower or while Jeff's trying to get off with some bird.
