If the drumheads are tuned to different frequencies as you say, would adding a cylindrical sound chamber to each turn them into a 'Jamaican Steel Band' sound?

@pretjim2011 Interesting idea. It might, but, increasing the volume of the boiler/engine would seriously impair or stop the engine.
