The United States in 60 Seconds

We had to drive from LA to New York in 46 hours to get home for thanksgiving so we did it all non stop and took a picture out of the front of the car every 3 miles / 3 minutes (sort of). This is what it looks like.

That's a pretty great video. Some friends and I are driving from Illinois to California next summer and were thinking about doing something similar to this. Did you guys take each picture by hand or rig it up to take them automatically? (and how, if you did)

Beautiful video, and good choice of song for this vid! I one day would love to do a cross-country drive like this.

In the meantime(as I doubt I'll have any possible opportunities for years to finally do a similar cross-country trip), I might try doing a picture project, like you did, for a future vacation I take.
