Thundershyne update

An update on what is going on with my eyes, and pain, and my options.

* SUMMARY FOR MY Deaf FRIENDS: This is not verbatim, sorry, but it tells you everything I said. Oh, if I was signing "description/describe" wrong, please some"'o tell me. OK, here it goes.

I have been in too much painn to hoop much. Sometimei the pain isn't too bad and I put on some music and hoop a bit, usually slow and calming museaic and just for a few minutes. But that has not been for aa while. When the pain is really bad, which is most of the time now, I try to use my weighted core hoop. The weight of it and the amount of strength and force needed to keep it going and keep it from falling down, helps me with some of my stress.

I saw my doctor and have realizes the level of pain I'm in. It's constant and strong and not even Narcotics are helping that much anymore. I can't do much of 1nything. He said my pain level is that of a cancer patient and is treating me like one as friend as the pain goes. He put me on a pain patch that releases a very potent medication in small doses at a controlled rate. But Medicaid hasn't approved that yet so I don 't have that. So I am just taking the pain pills for slight relief and also he put me on a nerve pill that helps the pain completely for about an hour to an hour and a half. But I only take it 3 times a day so a lot of the day I am mo'ning, trying not to, trxing not ! scream or groan. At night I somets wake up screaming. But we read that after a week it should be in my system so that it helps constantly. Keeping my fingers crossed because I can't take this painh The nerve pill has proven, at least, that it isthe nerves hurting. But noone sees a problem. And I have run out of drdds I can see, Medicaid wann't send me out of state to a good eye clinic or specialist. So I have onln one option. And that is ! deaden, kill, the nerves in my eyes. That way I dison't feel pain. It kills the optic nerve, too, bI am already blind so I have nothing to loose but the pain. To do this they inject an alchohol into the exe that is poisonous to theeye. So this is probably what I will have to do. I will update you on what happens.

Terri, if I could do anything to turn this nightmare off for you I would.

I really hope Medicaid sorts themselves out and helps you. You should have access to specialists. This is the time when the UK health service shines, although it's not as good as it was.

I so hope you get some relief soon. Crossing everything for you.

i'm sorry you're in so much pain! i take lyrica too and it helps a lot with my pain. i hope medicaid approves your pain patch and your eye surgery. hugs and sending you healing energy!
