Risen mage - attack spells - test on ashbeast

Watch it in HD. Spoiler alert! Ashbeast has the same amount of health as an Ogre, therefore is a good testing subject (one of the tougher opponents). This video is created to help you decide what attack magic to use when playing as a Mage in Risen. The test was made with the crystal magic spells maxed out.

how can i learn the seals , I have to find the armor and the weapon of Ursegor and I can't break the magic barriers because I can't use the rune he gave me???? pls tell me!

@jarjar231 only mages can learn seals and seals are dependent on wisdom. You can learn seal 1 when your wisdom is 50, seal 2 when wisdom is 100 and so on. Just go see master Ignatius to level up your seal.

@lustikurre fireball = not a lot of mana+area of effect-you have to run away from enemies, magic bullets=fast firing railgun+little stun+no running back-lots of mana, frost=wanted to be subzero? here's your chance. We found the game too easy if you choose magic bullets.

To be a mage: Help the order in Harbour town (don't get knocked out by order guards or you MUST be a warrior of order, which is like a paladin) Find the mage whose name starts with a B, he is at a cooking pot at the shrine in the town. You must hand out the potions and find a bed for the sick woman near the back entrance and he will give you a letter of recommendation for novice training.

@MuffinlVlan you got captured? because if you did, then you MUST be a warrior. to be a mage you must enter harbor town and help the inquisition there, then you get a recomendation from a guy and you can then uou can be a mage once you go to the monastery

Yes, a maxed out magic bullet (projectile) is the best crystal magic in my opinion because of the great speed and the temporary stun. The downside is it uses up alot of mana. Inferno has great area of effect and decent damage.

@raul1794 You have the ones shown in the video (Fire, Ice, and Bullets, called Crystal Magic), and you also have all the runes, (meaning all the spells in the game except for those. You can also use those as a Warrior of the Order (But not Crystal), and as a Bandit (But only through scrolls, which are one-time use items)), so you do have a lot more, only these are the only ones used in combat (The runes are spells such as Open Locks, Levitation, or some buffs)
