  • @qsk2pc602 That's what I thought initially, but no. The center hole diameter is just a tad too large, even with the smallest washer at my local hardware store. Bummer. Glad I had enough washers on hand to get the job done. I still wonder where these small-diameter washers came from . . . Maybe an electrical section? hummm . . . .

  • any small washer works does not have to be in the rivet section

  • centervilletn, did you ever get that old fridge for this project? Curious as to how you're doing.

  • Would really like to see how it goes for you. If you can, post pics, would you? I'd like to see your take on the project. (There's more than one way to get hot water. grin. )
