Video of the new fissure eruption close to the Napau Crater about 2km West of Pu`u `Ō `ō.

"Video clip shot in front of the propagating fissure, showing low spattering that started moments earlier. Thick white steam from the crack in the foreground indicates that lava is about to reach the surface, and is seen doing so seconds later. "

The guy who took this has some balls of steel!

  • Notice how at the end he suddenly realizes that the crack right in front of him just collapsed a little... camera off now... time to leave... LOL!
