  • There are so many comments, both here, and on a number of other pedal demos saying "my rig sounds like crap, what do I do?" or "can you use it to play this style?" Use your ear! Listen to the sound your gear is producing! Is that what you are going for? Listen to your heroes, do the research and figure out what you want to sound like. Don't buy what's popular! Buy the stuff you need to get the sound you want!

  • Very good comment. I once read a quote from Keith Richards, someone had asked him the secret of great tone: 'The right guitar into the right amp' was his answer. Get the guitar and amp sounding right THEN add pedals if you need them. No pedal, no matter how good, will make a bad guitar and amp set up sound acceptable. G

  • is it only for metal cant u play like guns n roses or hard rock

  • No, I mentioned in the video that Im not a metal player. By the way, this pedal is very much the WRONG choice for a GnR tone. Slash used a lot less gain than this box provides. G

  • man I have mt-2, but with my roland micro cube n225 (5w) it works like shit! can u help me? is that a problem with my amp or with my pedal?

  • Sounds like the pedal is driving the little speaker too hard. G

  • i lost the plug socket for mine =(

  • @blondegraemey

Would this pedal work as an Eq for a Big Muff? Something to bring out the midrange...

  • very nice!hope this pedal works on my amp,lol

  • @hejjens3 this is not an overdrive, mate

  • putting an mt-2 trough an ac30 is like killing a fly with a shotgun, poor ac30 :'(

  • Can you demo the older boss metal pedal hm-2

  • @MezmerizePsycho I don't think so. But the MT-2 still a good pedal though. SOAD uses Mesas, I think. The Metal Muff is a condensed Mesa IV in a box needing only any clean channel.

  • is the MT-2 better than a Metal Muff ? i want buy one of this two and don't know.

play soad , maximum the hormone

  • Haha. I burst out laughing at the unsure face you pulled after saying "crazy death metal/ thrash metal sounds". Cool review. Have you heard any of the modified versions of this pedal?
