  • I haven´t seen any indigeneous people there. They are the "true brazilians"; not the africans, not the europeans, not the arabs and jews... but the indigeneous people And also Brazil is not only Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. We also have more than sambe and forró... the rodeos (i.e., "vaquejadas") are strong part of brazilian culture as well. Theu need to research more. But is a good attempt anyway :) well done!

  • @anamarcondes Now thank ya very much !!!

  • @federalbureau That's why I said "etc.", there are thousands of simply magnificent places in Brasil, impossible to list them all. You also forgot Maceio, Natal, Pantanal, etc. etc. etc. etc....... ;-)

  • @anamarcondes Good, but you forgot to tell about other beautiful places in northeast, like Salvador, Fortaleza etc etc etc.

  • Wonderful video, and I am looking forward to the festival. I just wonder why the images are all from Rio, and not from around other places in Brazil. Rio is exactly the 'portal' of Brazil shown to the word, and source of the chiched European view of Brazilian culture - they should also show beautiful images from the countryside of Sao Paulo, Minas and Goias, beaches from the South and also from the north coast of Sao Paulo state, the Amazon forest etc.

  • Picture this: I say I'm going to organise a festival to "find out what is in the heart of British culture today, what the UK is talking and thinking about" and my line-up are the hardly young Mariane Faithful, Rolling Stones, The Who and what is left of The Beatles.

With all due respect to Gil, Tom Zé, Bethania and Mutantes, they are not 'young'.

They were avant-guard back in the 60's, established artists in the 70's, so that was 50/40 years ago. Arnaldo Antunes is from the 80's.

  • PARABENS ALI!!! ADOREI!!!
