Video of a Nitinol (muscle-wire) based walking insect I built. Skeleton is fashioned from bits of styrene, copper tubing, brass screws and piano wire. Each leg has two degrees of freedom (two muscles) to independently pick up and actuate rearward. The hysteresis in the wire limits the overall walking speed that can be achieved. Makes some neat 'creaking' noises when it walks.

i think you need to reconfigure the flexinol wires , movement seems to be very limited
other then that good job ^^ looks realy nice
