Songs AC/DC Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution Craig Morgan International Harvestor

In August of 2009, a joint effort by S.T. Frotton Inc, and CN Building Movers, successfully moved a hosue approximately 3/4 of a mile down public roads in Wellesley Ma. I was there as a spotter for tree limbs and any other tasks that either company needed help with, (except find DD's...lmao). Being friends with both company owners I was able to get some really good shots that most photographers wouldn't be able to. This house moved started at 4:30am for site preperation, and didn't end till almost 2am....so nearly 24 hours it took to get the house to its new home. Reason for the hold up, was because the town would only cut limbs that were totally necessary, and unfortunately for us, that slowed us down quite a bit.
The truck pulling the house, 1996 Freightliner Classic XL, 444 Cummins mech engine, mated to an Allison Auto tranny. You may notice that the drivers side exhaust is a fake, look closely and you'll see that its been transformed into a custom hydraulic lift for the driver. The truck is being operated by hand controls.

Other equipment utilized: Link-Belt L125 loader, 1988 Freightliner crane truck, 1996 Frieghtliner tractor and lowbed. Takeuchi TL-130

Many thanks to the homeowners along the way for their support, and help efforts they provided.

Thanks for the compliments...i promise next vid will be of better quality, and no repeated pics....(not exactly sure how that happened)

  • by these huge trucks and movers you can always anywhere "feel at home" nice video is it colorado ?

  • Great video!! I got involved in one of these myself about five years ago, two days before the fourth of July. Closed the only road on a penninsula for about five hours and some people didn't take the "road closed" signs(that had gone up a few days before) seriously. There were a few pissed off golfers to say the least!

  • I think i would try that just once

  • Great vid bro! Wish I had been there!!!
