3.5.10 update. I guess i got tired of taking my antidepressant pills and with everything i've been reading and hearing...I have become quite skeptical whether not or it's working for me and if I really do need them...

  • Hey CU.

Wow. You seem to be making so much progress. I think you are amazing. Personally, i am not in favour of anti-d's but that is not because of experience. It is more cos of what i have read. I think we have to each make the decision about what is right for us. Hopefully, the withdrawal symptoms will stop soon. I think it is great that you have the support of a counsellor and nutritionist. Yes, thought of weight gain is scary but i think that if it is gradual, it may be easier 2 deal with.

  • thanks fro the update. i hope you continue to progress. i hope that you did the right chioce.

  • I said goodbye to antidepressants years ago and it was the best thing I ever did. Antidepressants and doctors/psychiatrist is a scam.

  • Don't feel guilty. Your instincts were correct. Taking harmful chemicals, and they ARE HARMFUL, will only screw you up physically, mentally, and spiritually. Your "eating disorder" is not due to any kind of chemical imbalance of the brain. That has NEVER BEEN PROVEN. Also, there ARE ways of eating -- and eating a lot -- that don't put weight on you. And if you're worried about gaining, cut out junk food, and always EXERCISE. Then pursue your passions in life and find bigger battles to win

  • your soo pretty .
