  • do you know the # of this cylinder or the name of the tune I can tell its Charles D'Almaine but cant tell the song name or what it is from

  • @Westtoledoguy From what I can make out, It says "Little Annie? From Il Trovatore".

  • @Westtoledoguy I just listened to the record a little closer and it may actually say "Miserere" from Il Trovatore. So, see if that is in the Edison record catalog.

  • D'Almaine was a talented violinist. I can't imagine how many times he had to record this Miserere to fulfill the demand.

  • @EnerG15 I cant find any info on it either name not listed in the Edison Cylinder book 1889 to 1912 but it was a great sounding record

  • Definitely the "Miserere" from "Il Trovatore".......
