In Rays words - I write songs about what I see and feel.
I believe everything is song.
Modern methods of communication belie the natural sounds we make to communicate without language structure, or imposed sentence.
Music reaches us on an instinctive level, and we emotionally respond to music without thinking or formulating words.
With this as my credo, I write and create and pursue my dream of living the life of a bard, integrating new cultures, and learning new languages and ideas, to try to create beautiful songs or images of everything we feel and live.
I see all art as document of our evolution, signposts for life.
Songs to me, are a way of communicating pure emotion, beyond the confines of language or creed.
I'm moved by beautiful things, and passionate about injustice.

No wonder Robbie Williams is so depressed all the time. He has a guilty conscience for taking the credit for Ray's song "Angels", the song that made him. If it weren't for that song Williams would probably be eking out a living on reality TV.
