Rare demo/backing track from Strawberry Studios, recorded just before the split back in 1976.
"Voodoo Boogie" featured a more offbeat arrangement and prominent backing vocals by Lol Creme, but the track was considered "awful" when assembled together and Godley and Creme left the group shortly thereafter. The video is a promo with the official version. It was released just after the split. I have tried to syncronize the soundtrack...

I listened to this whole song and something is not right. At around 1:34, some other bad edit takes over. If the track was considered "awful" when assembled together, why would the band go through all the trouble to record a video for it? Hard to give a good critique when the video is not even synced in certain parts.

I always thought that original version of this song was fantastic and would have been great being featured in a movie! Has anyone know if it has ever been used in a movie?

Does anyone else happen to notice how differently the comments are written when they're for a band like 10cc?? Correct punctuation and spelling are things you almost NEVER see anywhere else. Just making an observation...

This clip is from a Marc Bolan TV show. I don't think there is much merit in putting the clip of "people In love" with this early demo version....10cc are the forgotten band of the UK music industry. When one hit wonders get gongs for doing nothing of real creactivity, these boys who did so much are so over looked. Even the BBC4 prog "They Came from Manchester" showed less than 2mins of them...criminal.
