For those of you who don't want to alter your N64 by opening it and removing the pegs, or opening the game cartridge, this is for youl

The gameshark is something I've had for over 10 years, but they're available on ebay for about $15 or so.

  • Japanese OoT looks so much cooler than American OoT.

  • @Aceman599 Yeah, most of the Japanese box art designs are way nicer than the American and PAL designs.

  • why buy a game shark when you could just unscrew the back of a Japanese game and replace it with an American one btw it fits perfectly

  • @Timesteel Well I already had the gameshark, so it was cheaper, and it would be a bit of a pain in the ass switching the back for every import.

  • @mastermckay13 How many imports do you have? It only takes me 1 minutes to open up a cartridge... You can go to a pawn shop or game store and buy a cheap stupid game for 25cents and use the back of the on the import... Gamesharks have tendency to crash a lot even with no cheats being used.

  • P.S. I like the Triforce sticker on ur wall : D

  • Lol your room is a Mess :3

  • @AwesomelukeyProject As far as I know, you don't need the keycodes at all for the japanese games, but if a game did require one, I'd assume it'd be the same as the north american keycode. Just to be safe, I'd do a quick google search though.

  • @mastermckay13 , BTW I also wanted to ask...And forgive me if I didn't catch it from the video...But how can the Japanese game start up on the Gameshark Pro without a key code....I mean I am getting two Japanese games in the Mail: Super Mario 64 First Japanese Edition and Blast Dozer...But that's the thing...If Mario 64 Japanese edition will run on the Mario World 64 key code, then How do I know what Blast Dozer runs on?

  • @AwesomelukeyProject I have no idea, I haven't come across any PAL games to try it, but if I do, I'll give it a try.
