  • I've seen this movie so many times. I love this movie. I can't stop watching it. I could watch it over and over. The Day of the Jackal (1973).

  • Finally a full, uncensored version. I only knew the 95 minutes TV version. Thank you so much!

  • @junkman19571

The french were like ladies. They surrendered Paris without a shot.

  • Still one of the best films of all time. Edward Fox should have received an Oscar.

  • I want that rifle

  • @junkman19571 Your stupidity just baffles me.

  • I can't understand why this was so popular. How did they guess he was behind the window, as well screened as he was? Other than that, it was straightforward, plodding detective work, leading up to a predictable ending, and a lame "twist" epilogue. I even guessed he would get one shot and miss, they made that obvious in the ordering-the-gun scene.

The Devil's Alternative is a much better spy and suspense story, for some reason it was never famous, people like crap better.

  • What a great movie. Especially how the ending comes together. One of my favorites

  • see the picture of jfk on the gun makers table, the year is 1963

  • when the gun maker says will it be a head or body shot...it would'vegiven the game away if he said a nose shot......
