So this is my first attempt at compositing. I know there's many a glitch and it still needs a lot of work, but it was shown at an art event called LUGO last night and I feel my time is better served moving on to the next thing, so here's the not so final final product.

I Know it's a lot like the other one, they're supposed to be two different perspectives of the same journey. Although due to time constraints they weren't as different as I would have liked them to be.

  • fascinating!! i think u should definitely submit this to youtube play (that's actually where i saw ur comment and decided to take a look at ur channel)

by the way, is there a social portrayal here or some sort of msg/issue that i may have missed?

    Brilliant!!

  • @Yashop Sorry for taking so long to respond...I'm supposed to get an email when I get comments on videos. Grrrr.

Thank you very much for your positive feedback. I have submitted it to youtube play. I'd have to say no to the msg/issue you may have missed. My goal with this was

    1) To learn a new technique

    and

    2) To pull people out of their worlds, and into their imaginations. Cardboard was my favorite toy when I was a child because it made me use my imagination and create my own world.

  • Nice work Andrei, looks pretty good. I'm doing a bit of compositing on something and I can only imagine that this would have taken forever a day to accomplish with all your shooting and hours upon hours of hours upon hours of rendering and rerendering. Congrats. Looks like a nice piece.
