If anyone is fimilar with this watch maybe you can give me some insight. I bought this watch and the first time it was in water moisture collected in the dial. The crown was screwed all the way in and I was no where near 200 meters down. The watch still works and the water in the dail has since dried but Im assuming that is still a concern. Any thoughts?

@fanmusclecars Thank you. Thats a nice collection you have going. I got my vx in the mail a few days ago and I love it.

Welcome to the world of the watch collecting. So far I have acquired a Accutron Gemini Chronograph 26C02, Citizen Eco-Drive Calibre 8700 BL8000-54L, Invicta Pro Diver 8926A, and a Fossil Decker White Chronograph CH2574. Will be looking at the Orient "Blue Mako" CEM65002D next.

Thanks. FYI, you correctly mentioned this as a ETA 2824-2 movement. Then go on to mention Valjoux on the back at 1:22. The Valjoux is a automatic chronograph movement.

@RustyinRochester I got a good deal on this watch online from a site that negotiated the price and it's on its way now. This will be my first watch in what I hope to be a great collection someday. Thanks for the review. After watching a dozen times I decided I had to have it.
Thank chwwdp21. You are too kind.

Can these watches be manually wound? I always love to wind automatics just so I could wear other automatic watches.

@fanmusclecars
Many automatic watches can be manually wound as well allowing your wrist movement to propel the rotor to wind the mainspring. Just about all of the Swiss automatics have this feature. But a number of Japanese automatics do not allow for hand winding.
