A "fusion" of Ballet and Hip-Hop infers the movement vocabulary of both art-forms is clearly articulated throughout the piece. This is not the case here. There are no hip-hop dance elements (popping, locking, breaking, boogaloo & social dances) present at all. Amorphous movement done to a heavy beat is not hip-hop dance. Nor would aoristic movement to Mozart be considered ballet. It's important to acknowledge an art-forms true movement vocabulary before purporting to fuse it with another art.

@dd3542 There is no such thing as "slow hip-hop" or "fast hip-hop." Hip-hop dance just like ballet or contemporary dance can be articulated using a variety of dynamics (only one of which is energy.) It is the varying complexity of lines, levels shapes and nuance that lends itself to the intensity of a movement. The movement properties and qualities within hip-hop dance are quite intricate and hardly explored by many dancers in depth.
