Great video, thanks for posting it! I am in a Physical Therapist Assistant program and we're currently learning transfer, bed mobility, and seated trunk stability treatments for traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury patients. Watching videos like this is really helpful. You must have some strong pec and anterior delt muscles to move around like that without triceps. Very awesome.

thanks for showing this informative video. i am currently doing this presentation cases study for a c6 quad patient, I was just wondering if this technique is viable for someone who has no triceps + grade 2 shoulder extension?
Thanks

i like this video. i'm c6/c6 too and this is definitely helping me. how long did it take you to get this down good and how tall are you?
also, i noticed you aren't wearing a leg bag so when you do your catheters, how do you get your pants buttoned back? i'm having a very hard time with that.
thanks

thnx for the great vid.
im still learning to do this, my condition is same as yours with grade two triceps in right and grade 1 in left.
I had a question, if you dont mind can you show me how you get up, from lying down flat on your bed to sitting position?
I have no idea how to do this important part. it'll also help me sit up every time i fall from my chair

Thanks for your comment.
I manage to pass from lying to sitting position only in bed but it's still difficult.
Even much more difficult on the floor!!! I try as long as possible not to fall from my wheelchair.

you have great core strength, do you have active control of your stomach muscles?

No, I have neither stomach muscles neither back muscles. It's just the balance that allow me to keep sit.
