@ASLVideoProductions : First Happy New Year. I am 63 years and recently purchased a computer and Magix Edit Pro Plus Version 9 software. I just installed the program and I do not know what to do next. I need to learn how to edit home movies of my grandchildren. Can anyone help me set up Magix settings. You can contact me by Email : azvstudio786@yahoo.ca. When next you come to Canada you can visit me.
Thanks,

@ASLVideoProductions You can change DV to HDV with the menu and the wheel.

@ASLVideoProductions This video was captured in MPG by the MAGIX software, edited by the software and then render as 1920x1080 (29.97) as a WMV file. Lately I have been uploading my files at 720.

@ASLVideoProductions The menu button is at the back of the camera just left of the battery compartment. Press the menu button and just below the menu button is a wheel. Press that for each change you wish to make. You will find that you have infinity possibilities with this camera. This is the online: manual:dmc.wisc.edu/images/EFLmanuals/sony_hdrfx7.pdf

@ASLVideoProductions Yes. It should say so in the top left hand corner of the viewfinder. Check your transfer when sending your video to your software. YOU have to transfer as HD. Go to the menu and change it.
