WHERE BOUTS IN YOSEMITE IS THIS,GREAT SHOT OF BEAR !!!!!!!!! IM GOING THERE ON VAC. NEXT MONTH.

@1934LORLAN This was in a marsh located near where the valley shuttle stops at Happy Isles. If you get off there, then walk east toward Happy Isles, but instead of continuing east, turn south (about fifty yards east). The "Fen" or Marsh trail, about a hundred yards south on the left. Ask the shuttle drivers, and rangers, about recent sightings. Of course, don't approach a bear, like a few YouTubers have done.

@jdh501 Ah, someone who recognizes him! Yes, very near. Fen (Marsh) about twenty feet east off the boardwalk, at about 5 in the afternoon. thanks for leaving a comment !

@AliMoni2007 Quite honestly, good friend, I am in more danger when walking to 7-11 late at night, or near other automobile drivers who are talking on their cell phones and texting, or driving drunk. That bear could maul me to bits and pieces, but some people can do much worse if allowed. Your comment is validated, however, because a little fear when standing only a hundred feet from such an animal as that black bear, is healthy.
