"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes. Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God."

Romans 3:10-19

  • Total depravity means all men are born in the flesh, powerless to sin. Adam ate good and evil equally. Man is not born evil he is born powerless and must eventually sin. Death passed upon all men because all have sinned. All consummation results in powerless flesh Flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom of God.Flesh cannot know God until born again by Spirit we are slaves to flesh and must sin. It is not degrees we are all powerless the same way. But do not do the same sins of flesh.

  • This is why John Macarthurs doctrine on Christ's blood being common is such a disgrace.Macarthur declares the blood common.Even though exclusively made by God in Mary's womb. There is no mystical attachment to Christ's blood but His blood is distinct from any other man's.Macarthur claims the blood distinction is not relevant to atonement. But he is wrong because Christ's blood had to be unique to be satisfactory.Nothing of Mary or any man made Christ's blood Only the Holy Spirit made Christ blood
