@DOWSOE strictly from Dean's pov, all supernatural creatures sooner or later will adhere to their nature. The one supernatural creature that Dean choose to trust end up attacking Sam and unleashing his hell trauma and the Leviathans who later kills Bobby. Dean isn't going to make the same mistake when it involves Sam, who is too forgiving and trusting. Amy was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

@sammyscougar9 Thanks for the reminders. Sam did it to try to save Dean and stop the end of the world because there appear to no other options. Everybody kept telling Sam that killing Lilith was the only option but they didn't say how to stop her.

@LordAniline I thought there were 3 reasons for Sam starting on the DB. 1st as revenge against Lilith for helping send Dean to hell... 2nd Stopping the Apocalypse and 3rd that bitch Ruby's manipulation & lies to bring Lucifer topside....

@mimi372 Thanks! When Dean said "okay" in Girl Next Door, Sam looked so happy, like a burden was lifted that he doesn't need to keep struggling to prove himself to Dean. When Sam said here "I can't do this anymore" I think he can't keep struggling to convince Dean that he is a good and strong person when he has to deal with the hell memories too. Sam went to hell to save Dean and the world, what else can Sam do to convince Dean? But I understand Dean's action too...

@Inuyashagirl234 No, Dean should have followed his own rules and truthfully told Sam that he can't trust Sam's judgement and he plans on putting Amy down and why. Sam will disagree but at least he's being told the truth and not deceived in order to keep a false peace. Often Dean projects his own issues onto Sam, and for the record I thought Dean was correct to go after Amy, but he shouldn't have gone behind Sam's back.
