This is my trustable hi-fi stereo cassette deck recorder / player, that I purchased brand new in 1982.

It still is in perfect conditions and works fine. It has Dolby B NR and accepts Chrome (CrO2) type tapes for extend response.

I recorded the audio directly from the cassette deck player's output to the line input of my digital recorder.

Here I was demonstrating some old hits tapes that I recorded from vinyl LPs.

The warm sound of magnetic tapes is unbeatable.

  • Can the R-09HR be used as a microphone when connected to a PC using the Line In port?

  • @LuminolBlue

Yes, connect the line out of R09HR to the line in of PC.

    Thx.

  • what is the little recorder you have on the side that is picking up the audio?

  • @atherrien95

    It is a Roland R-09HR 24Bits x 96kHz Wav pocket recorder.

It has 2 built-in mics and line input. Perfect quality of recordings.

    I recommend this recorder.

  • what song is this

  • I always want a Tape Recorder like this one!

  • great music great sound

  • @sorcerio, I'm not sure if it's the tape distortion that people associate with sentimental nostaliga, or the fact that record companies make CDs sound awful by rubbishing their dynamic range to make their CDs sound louder than the competition.

  • @mauricio90x1 "Desire" - by U2

  • @mauricio90x1 It is Desire by U2 ,from the Rattle and Hum LP. Glad they reinvented themselves and moved on to do Achtung Baby but this was an ok homage to the American music of old they dug at the time.

  • I want one too!
