Square Rigging with a View

Rigging some wood off a Douglas-fir spar with a excellent water view. Used a garden hose to water the rope to keep it cool. Please excuse the poor saw maintenance.

bad ass video gru, @ ms290guy1999. rigging blocks are a must for dropping heavy wood. check out any of the videos by "recoates" beech tree rigging has good examples. I use 5/8 stable braid with that same block and 5/8 tenex sling. i cant imagine not having it. Its a must when u have so much riding on your rigging. @jonesbrent85 im probaly gonna have people say im wrong. i climb the trees some times an have never used a pully. i have cut some wood this big while climbing also. i have all the stuff except a pully. maby i will get one
