Yadkin Tea Party Rally held today in Yadkinville, NC behind the Chamber of Commerce building and near the Court House. The Music was provided by TC Montana (you can find them on facebook). The Guest Speakers that were there were: Andrew C. Brock (NC State Senator, District 34 Davie, Rowan), Andrew Hinson (Policy Analyst, Civitas Institute, Raleigh, NC), Becki Gray (Vice President for Outreach, John Locke Foundation, Raleigh, NC), Felice Pete (Wake County Republican Women, Raleigh, NC), Benjamin Franklin (portrayed by Kershaw Getty, Ashe County Tea Party).

You sound like someone who doesn't have the slightest idea what the Tea Party movement is about.
If you think fighting for the founding principles is a "waste of time," you're probably a leftist. In that case, yeah, stay home. You are the opposition.

TEA Party is a huge waste of time unless your a uninformed Republican, Getty also is how shall I put this - nutty? At the Jefferson TP last yr I was threatened by a wackjob TP'er for expressing my 1st Amendment right on many issues and Getty agreed with him.I am NOT a D just a free thinking American who see's the TP for what it is just another spoke of the R wheel.
