  • Actually, Kramnik was the one who offered a draw, because he had no winning chances and playing on would essentially be pointless.

  • anand has seemingly been an e4 player his whole life. check out the 1995 match to see some fantastic sicilian games. he did however abstain from e4 openings against topalov in 2010.
