The studio version of a song that my son and I wrote. The song was inspired by patients with auto immune and life changing illnesses. I have lupus and feel as though this song touches hearts and comforts souls - Lorie Streeter
Wow that was such a great touching song. It meant alot to me. I have Lupus, RA, SS, RP, FMS, and other conditions. I will listen to this song more often. Thanks so much for sharing such a great song that Mom and Son had written. What a touching relationship. Take care Hope your days are full of many spoons.
I am also a lupus survivor. My sister was diagnosed with lupus in her early 20's and I watched her suffer and prayed for her every day of her life. She was two years older then I am. When I was diagnosed with lupus in my 40's she helped me to understand this illness and to learn to know my signs of a flare . This is how she felt and she helped me to take on this same attitude. So when I hear your song I do have her here with me once again.
i was fortunate to attend a dental conference last week sponsored by an organization with which lorie is affiliated. if you ever meet her or cross her path, you will never forget her! she has the most positive and uplifting presence. she literally lights up a room & fills it with energy when she walks in. if you are ever fortunate enough to meet her you would never know she faces some of life's toughest struggles. she is admired by many, and an inspiration to many more.
Had to hear this song again. Last time I heard it was at my nieces funeral.....Miss you Joss.................
