Remember seeing her at the Live Oak Music Festival outside of Santa Barbara, CA. She was sooooo seductively smooth, effortless, and entertaining.
I'm not sure video does her justice - she's truly good live and direct.

I attended this concert at Bake's place... her performance, the sound system and acoustics were superb... nothing like this bootleg recording. The band backing her up is Perl Django... one of the premier gypsy jazz bands. If you are not familiar with this genre of music try her "Gypsy in my soul" or "Stockholm Sweden albums.

Pleasant. I enjoyed it. However, this song must be sung by a HORNY female to have its proper power. Technique and style isn't enough for this song.

Better than Peggy Lee? She can't even hold the tempo! Pity she had to rope in buskers for the gig ... crap playing, combined with abysmal singing. It's good for her the audience was either tone deaf or drunk.

Sometimes when Connie sings a Peggy Lee song, I feel she does it better than Peggy! Connie is fab! I'm so glad my friend introduced me to her singing this year; I have been fortunate to see her 6 times already - - - just great jazz singing!
