Amman Imman means "Water is Life"
The people in the Azawak of West Africa spend their lives in a constant search for water. During the rainy season, they get their water from marshes shared with animals. When these dry up, they travel as far as 35 miles to the nearest deep well. These wells are at least 300 feet deep. The water in them is contaminated. As the dry season progresses, these deep wells dry up. Many of them never reach water.

The people of the Azawak are dying of thirst.

AMMAN IMMAN is bringing water to the people of the Azawak by drilling boreholes, the only structure suited for the unique hydrogeological conditions in this region.
