I have finally decided on a name after a year and a half. It is a homage to the obscure M.I.S.C game of the late nineties.

Anyway, I have added health bars and a system message class. For collision I am using two boundingfrustrums per ship, one starboard and one port this seems more efficient then a OOBB and more accurate then a bounding sphere. You can see that the bf runs the length of the ship when in debug mode. Still having problems with larger ships just clumping together at times.

Yes it does look confusing but I have yet to figure out what it should be doing! Its really just a simulator at this point. I need to find and add some game play elements. Thanks for the comment!

  • @Ninja76100 You should make like a star trek like rts battle game. Just add some planets where you can have "mining" which you can use for building different ships. Then like , on each level you have a set amount of enemies, and a set amount of planets with resources.
