  • Very nice model.

  • disgraceful piece of junk?! the churchill IV was one of the best tanks of WWII!!! its gun wasn't very poweful, but its armor was very good at protecting the crew.

  • Because that was the Mk1 version, that was under-armoured, under-armed, and under-powered. The newer models were far superior, and proved themselves time and time again.

  • Always thought this tank looked very scary

  • I'm not sure why people think this tank is shit. It's gun was the same as the Crommie's which had a marginally higher velocity than the Sherman 75, yes the churchill was slow, but hey, it was designed to support infantry and it rolled with the punches. It also provided the base for some of WW2s best engineering vehicles and played a CRUCIAL role in British and Empire forces easier success on D-Day. It really is a fantastic piece of kit, got my grandfather through the War alright!

  • The Churchill was an infantry support tank

  • Buzzlybonk, if you look at the start of the video you will see the drivers hatch is open, this was closed in a combat zone, my father was a gunner in a churchill tank during ww2, the first thing they done on landing in Normandy after D-Day was to go to a tank grave yard to get tracks to weld on the tank, this came as a bit of a shock to my dad seeing the many destroyed Churchills after being told they were immune to the german guns!

  • churchill tank: craptank. its speed was massively slow for bieng a not sdo powerful. it had a 75MM gun. fails to destroy a PZIV medium tank. it had a 100MM armor which was pretty good but couldve been much better. look at the tiger. a masterpiece with a 120MM armor and an 88MM with a very good speed for bieng such an exellent piece of engineering (24MPH)

  • althought he Panther was Superior i think thats a pretty nice tank :)

  • A fantastic piece of British engineering. A devastating, terrifying weapon. To all those who whine about its flamethrower's range in comparison to an enemy tank's main gun, you clearly don't understand a flamethrower's primary function. Flamethrowers are designed to cut down large numbers of infantry, clear out enemy bunkers and raze constricting terrain. Not to mention the effect it had on enemy morale. "It's so ugly" grow up. This is war, children. Aesthetics aren't exactly essential.

  • Churchill 0 : Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger : 1

  • MKI was indeed horrible, but from the MKIII they where one of the best armoured allied tank. And their where no terrain the churchill couldnt cross, nor a hill that couldnt be climbed.
