For eons the song of the humpbacks could be heard in the oceans of the world, today their numbers are dwindling and I hope it's not final curtain call for the Humpback Whale songs. The estimations of the current population vary widely: some speak of 5,000-7,000 animals, and others of 12,000-14,000 animals. Even if there were 14,000 animals, that would only be a fraction of the originally estimated population of approximately 115,000 animals. The humpback whale's existence is, therefore, considered endangered. They received full protection by the International Whaling Commission (IWC) in 1963, but are still hunted illegally. Currently there are many efforts being made to save these animals.
I think the whales are singing sad songs about the loss of their people, the same way our people sing sad songs about our ancestors and mourn for the earth and the loss of our ancestors. The white man has done the same thing to them as he did to us. If I could, I would fight all of the whale hunters and kill them if I had to defend the whales. We have to stop the slaughter of dolphins and seals and the destruction of earth by these evil, murdering crazy hunters.

Another beautiful video...and the song matches. Why are they sound so sad? Because they know the fate of the earth? Humans pollute water and everything. Whale's feces will help reduce global warming.
