Miron Employees put together a shocking 29,386-pound donation to Goodwill!

This mornings weigh-in turned out to be quite a shocking event!

As a surprise to employees, a team member from each team was given the opportunity to climb into the crane and weigh their teams donation.

The Blue team was first, with a 3,780-p...ound donation. But added to that was our Iowa Offices 2,750 pounds and Madisons 416 pounds for a grand total of 7,946 pounds!

Next came the Green Team, with a less impressive 6,580 pounds.

Third was the Red Team, which included all the goods from our Wausau employees weighing in at an astonishing 8,080 pounds.

Just when it looked like the Red Team had won, a 2nd sea can was revealed for the Green team.

Avi Stern, Director of Community Relations for Goodwill, was attending the weigh-in event and was asked to climb into the crane to lift and weigh the final can ... and announced a 6,780-pound net weight, bringing the Green Team to their winning grand total of 13,360 pounds.

After pronouncing the Green Team as winner, the additional sea can was opened for Mr. Stern, revealing a pickup truck ... the heaviest donation of the day!

Now that all donations have been weighed and the competition has come to a close, all donations will be evenly split between the local Goodwill organizations in each of our regional office cities.
