This game is an SNES update to Hudson's Adventure Island series that originally appeared on the NES. It's a straightforward platformer...but where the game really shines is the soundtrack. Composed by Yuzo Koshiro, who composed the funky beats of the Streets of Rage series, and the sweeping orchestral sounds of ActRaiser, the game has a nice upbeat tracks and slow, relaxing tunes with repeating drum and bass in the background.
The bassline for "Cool Jam" seems to have been taken verbatim from "Jazzie's Groove" by Soul II Soul (Thanks to DJYuzoboy for pointing this out)

Incredible music, couldn't believe the SNES could belt out beats like this. The best composers definitely created some gems with this machine.
