@ThePinkFloydPortal Stu Phillips also conducted the "Hollyridge Strings" . The Hollyridge Strings produced many instrumental albums of the Beatles, Beach Boys, The Four Seasons, Simon and Garfunkal and Elvis.

This song was written by Buffy Sainte Marie,and has been recorded by ALOT of singers., makes me wonder do you know if it was Mike's choice to record it or the producers?

This is a really lovely version of this song. I hadn't realised how beautifully Mike Nesmith sang. It was always Micky and Davy who stole the limelight in the Monkees but it seems Mike was the truly talented one. The quiet one!!
