@brienfoerster Yes, I am only 5'6" but I was taller than most. And when we were at Chucuito (near Puno/Amaru Muru's doorway), I saw SEVERAL women who could not have been even 4 ft. tall. "Little people!" :)

Certain English wise cracks have a go at Scottish tartan being "invented" in the victorian age... but the "Tartan Mummies" who were found in China from 1000's years ago say something different. Thank you, Brian, for bringing us these places that are not usually explored on a tourist visit.
Just curious -- you showed the one femur for a 6ft person. Did you see others that length? Because, although not giant or unhuman in any way, a 6ft tall person in that area WOULD be a like a giant to the indigenous people, who are quite short, on the whole. Your thoughts?

@ramura001 Very much the case; the average people seemed to be about 5 foot 2; I have found many very large ones, about 6 foot plus a bit.
